J.P.Morgan Private Bank
At VML, I worked with J.P. Morgan Private Bank Wealth Management bankers to develop a collaborative sales tool to frame financial planning within the context of the clients’ life goals.
(January 2015 – November 2015)
The Goals-Based Wealth Management tool was designed with an eye towards simplifying input using a tablet-based interface - and creating an experience that could be revisited and updated over time.
The experience stepped the Banker through the client interview process to capture goals and current assets/liabilities. The tool combined information already known about a client via an API with additional data entered in real time. It leveraged a powerful data analysis tool on the back end to create multiple “what-if” scenarios that modeled outcomes based on potential market performance. The results could then be printed or shared as a PDF.
In my role, I worked directly with the client and their Wealth Management SMEs to capture the real-world interview processes, inputs and outputs to shape the experience.
I created the initial flow and wireframes, and worked with both UI and Visual Designers to move it from concept to full prototype and design. This was reviewed with numerous client stakeholders and development teams and moved into Agile development sprints, where we continued to work through the MVP to handoff to the client for evaluation and sign off.
